Aims: To have students re-construct a video clip using the imperative form.
Class time: 15 minutes

Background:
Students have been introduced to the imperative form and its many uses (commands, negative, respectful, self-included). Students have constructed the imperative form using index cards with the different uses of the imperative and with example sentences.
Procedure:
Students will listen to a short video of a doctor performing a hand exam. Students will listen to the video 2-3 times and will be writing down imperative clauses that would allow someone else to perform the same task (much like writing down a recipe). Students will share their commands as teacher goes through video and highlights the commands as they happen in the video.
